Summary

Join our Geneva-based team for an exciting 6 to 12 month internship within the world of commodity trading. This opportunity is designed for recent graduates and early-career professionals with up to two years of experience who are eager to build a career in commodities, trading, commercial operations, or supply chain management.

 

Working alongside experienced traders and commercial professionals, you will gain hands-on exposure to international markets, commercial transactions, operational processes, and market analysis. The internship provides a unique opportunity to develop industry knowledge, strengthen analytical and commercial skills, and gain practical experience in a fast-paced, global trading environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the team in their day-to-day commercial activities
  • Prepare analytical reports, market summaries, and performance dashboards
  • Assist with contract administration and commercial documentation
  • Ensure data accuracy across trading and reporting systems
  • Support pricing calculations and reconciliation processes
  • Maintain regular communication with internal stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline
  • Recent graduate or professional with up to two years of relevant work experience
  • Strong academic record with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international business environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn
  • Native French speaker with fluent English; Arabic is a plus
