Summary

CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Information Technology group. We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support the Agronomy Crop Protection team. In this role, you must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be detail oriented, able to solve complex issues and probable to work in a team environment independently, and to solve complex issues and problems. 

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with a good understanding of business systems, industry requirements, and available IT solutions.
  • Supports, tests and enhances moderately complex information systems and develops adequate error management functionality within assigned applications.
  • Takes ownership of support activities for assigned applications. 
  • Analyzes business and user needs, document requirements/user stories, and manage and/or develop enhancements.
  • Provides test plans, test cases, perform functional testing and assure proper user acceptance testing of completed projects.
  • Provide new user training on supported applications as requested.
  • Quantify business benefits to be delivered by the project or enhancement.
  • Track problems, requests and suggestions for assigned applications.
  • Guide business customers through business case development for new applications/functionality, including cost/benefit analysis and risk/impact analysis.
  • Provide Security role creation and modification as defined and requested by the Finance Controller.
  • Assists Security Account Management Team with access provisioning activities. 

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • 2+ years of IT business systems analysis experience to include:
    • Business process definition, requirements definition, and development and support of integrated business applications
    • Knowledge and understanding of ERP systems and concepts
    • Experience deploying, supporting, and maintaining ERP software 

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology Management, or related field
  • Experience deploying, supporting and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain (D365 F&O)
  • Experience working with Agricultural business (Crop Protection)
  • Business Intelligence experience
  • Experience with Microsoft development platforms

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
