Summary
The Digital Self-Service Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and execution of the customer self-service strategy, focusing on improving customer adoption and maximizing the value of digital platforms such as MyCHS, CHS Connect, Bushel Trade, and AgVend. This role is a key connector between business stakeholders and product owners, ensuring that systems meet business needs, are user-friendly, and deliver measurable ROI. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, analytically driven, and experienced in systems analysis, user engagement, and cross-functional implementation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product lines, IT, finance, compliance, and go-to-market teams to determine platform requirements and enhancements.
- Support the development and execution of the digital self-service adoption strategy, creation of playbooks, focusing on customer-facing tools like MyCHS and CHS Connect.
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with third-party vendor partners, e.g. Bushel and AgVend
- Oversee and support the Bushel trade platform, facilitating trader/origination training, user adoption, and standardizing business processes.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings to gather detailed business requirements and user needs.
- Collaborate with product owners to translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories for the implementation of technology.
- Guide business case development for new digital capabilities, including ROI analysis and risk assessments.
- Support continuous improvement by monitoring usage metrics, analyzing feedback, and recommending enhancements.
- Reduce redundancy by managing SaaS tool subscriptions, licenses, and ensuring streamlined tool use.
- Collaborate with the product owner, communications and marketing teams to coordinate stakeholder communication and manage timelines, resources, and deliverables across digital initiatives.
- Track and report performance of digital tools using KPIs, dashboards, and regular updates to leadership.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- High School diploma and/or GED
- 6+ years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Additional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business information systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to translate business needs into system requirements.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and business case development.
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Visio, Azure DevOps, and SQL Server.
- Proficiency in digital platform analysis and customer adoption strategies.
- Experience in agriculture and energy commodity business.
- Familiarity with commodity trading applications and software such as Bushel Trade, CQG, DTN, LSEG WorkSpace
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI and platforms like Snowflake.
- Strong facilitation skills for stakeholder engagement and alignment.
CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
