Summary
Responsibilities
- Lead process engineering and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, efficiency, quality, and reliability

Plan, design, and implement process engineering projects to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance safety

Prepare engineering documents including calculations, drawings, material lists, schedules, and operating instructions

Research and evaluate repair and improvement opportunities to ensure cost‑effective and reliable solutions
- Develop, monitor, and improve plant KPIs and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
- Plan, manage, and support capital projects and equipment upgrades from concept through execution
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Supervise and support plant maintenance activities, including preventative maintenance and reliability efforts
- Maintain accurate engineering, maintenance, and equipment documentation
- Collaborate with CHS engineering teams to align with enterprise standards, practices, and safety requirements
Minimum Qualifications (required)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial preferred)
Additional Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred

Lubricant or chemical manufacturing experience

Maintenance, reliability, or preventative maintenance program experience

Experience working with vendors, contractors, or maintenance teams

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
