Summary

CHS is looking for a manager to lead a team supporting our corporate functions, including Finance, HR, Community Giving, Strategic Sourcing, Enterprise Strategy, Building & Office Services, Sustainability, Marketing, and Communication. This role will lead a team of three analysts and report to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis.

Responsibilities

Lead a team
  - Support individual development of team in alignment with CHS seven capabilities.
  - Provide daily feedback to team to ensure alignment with CHS goal and initiatives.
  - Maintain the schedules and calendars of deliverables for the team.
  - Develop and train team best practices.
  - Review reports and presentations to align with FP&A standards.
  - Maintain effective controls for systems, reports, and processes.
  - Drive collaboration across FP&A teams to ensure consistency to business partners.

Support Corporate Functions
  - Provide support and direction regularly with corporate function leadership on performance against budget and forecast targets. 
  - Serve as a trusted business partner providing a deep understanding of business priorities. 
  - Provide financial support to project investments.
  - Evaluate key metrics including return on investment for proposed initiatives.
  - Support analysis of function capital and operating expenditures.
  - Champion innovation and transformation across the organization to support business decisions.
  - Offer actionable insights, financial counsel, and metrics to drive cost optimization and guide sound decision-making.
  - Partner with functional leaders to review results, provide insights, and develop action plans.
  - Coordinate the expense allocation process for budget and forecast across all FP&A teams. 

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, and/or Financial Planning and Analysis.
  • Prior leadership experience with progressively advancing level of leadership responsibilities. 

Additional Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years related financial management experience including strategic and business planning, accounting, and financial analysis.
  • Experience with SAP/BPC or Similar Planning Module
  • Experience supporting finance across business and functional boundaries.
    MBA/CPA/CMA
  • Previous experience providing financial support to corporate functions.

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
