Summary
CHS, Inc. is seeking an Office Services Manager to provide leadership and support to our Inver Grove Heights based Office Services team that includes print services, mail services, and shipping/receiving dock operations. The Office Services Manager will be responsible for leading a team of 8-10 people and will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, customer communication, vendor partnerships, and enforcing a strong safety culture. The Office Services Manager will also maintain office services programs and processes to ensure the operations are customer centric with a focus on quality, efficiency, cost, and compliance with CHS brand standards. This role will include administrative responsibilities associated with maintaining office services systems and budgets.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and a strong commitment to leadership development and team success are necessary. This role will collaborate across business areas to develop a consistent vision of Office Service programs/processes and develop a future roadmap for print services and mail operations. This will include but is not limited to inventory management, budgets & cost allocation, and a data analytics program that helps drive future growth and decision making. This role will leverage expertise and knowledge to develop policies and procedures for project intake, maintaining data integrity, identifying efficiencies, and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Foster a high-performing team culture grounded in empowerment, accountability, and growth. Execute ongoing performance management through goal setting, regular evaluations, and actionable development plans. Support each team member’s growth through individualized coaching, mentorship, and continuous feedback, while cultivating an environment of recognition, collaboration, and professional development.
- Business Operations & Collaboration: Develop KPIs, evaluate process flows, ensure vendor/supplier performance, and clearly communicate the results of overall operations. Collaborate across business areas and ensure alignment of business needs and service offerings, develop a culture of continuous improvement that enables growth strategies for print services and mail operations. This will include but is not limited to inventory management, budgets & cost allocation, and a data analytics program that helps drive future growth and decision making.
- Customer Service: Function as liaison between the Office Services team and core business partners, developing and implementing process that promote communication and information flow with every project intake while maintaining the efficiency necessary to achieve a healthy level of service in conjunction with cost-efficient decision making. Ensure the team engages with customers in a professional and courteous manner to ensure smooth processes and procedures. Identify and troubleshoot issues, collaborating with leaders and peers to resolve them promptly and meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Budget Compliance: Develop and manage a comprehensive budget that includes all operating expenses, inventory, equipment service agreements, permits & lease agreements.
- Software Solutions: Drive software adoption and proficiency across the team by leveraging tools such as Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Fiery. Identify and implement new technologies to enhance team capabilities.
- Project Management: Manage multiple advanced job priorities from customers, ensuring all expectations for quality and deadlines are met. Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions. Ensure all team members know how to safely operate a variety of print production, print finishing, data printing, and mail machines. Ensure all equipment is maintained and used according to safety standards

Minimum Qualifications (required)
- High School diploma or GED
- 4+ years of experience in Print Operations and/or Business Operations
- Prior leadership experience with progressively advancing level of leadership responsibilities
Additional Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 2-5 years of experience in Corporate Office Services, including operating digital production printers and a variety of equipment used for print project finishing
- Ability to motivate, lead and develop team members
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships across the organization and with vendor/supplier partners.
- Projects management experience that reflects strengths in collaboration, strategy, and continuous improvement
- Experience in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or similar field preferred

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
