Summary

CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) group for a Supply Chain Planning Intern to help drive our mission of creating connections to empower agriculture. This role will focus on enhancing S&OP processes through analysis and documentation. Key responsibilities include interviewing stakeholders, mapping process flows, and identifying gaps or unclear ownership. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication are essential for success.

This is a Summer 2026 hybrid internship.

Responsibilities

  • Create visual process flows to document key activities across various Supply Chain functions
  • Identify gaps, redundancies, and areas with unclear opportunities that create value
  • Analyze KPIs to identify trends and opportunities to provide recommendations on policy updates, cadence, and parameter improvement
  • Develop advanced data analytics and scenario modeling tools to support supply chain optimization and forward planning decisions.
  • Participate in Lean continuous improvement efforts. Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements.
  • Provide visualization tools to provide clear and concise insights to business partners.
  • Project scope will include supply chain planning, inventory, trade execution and global supply chain compliance

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Agricultural Science, or related STEM programs or recently graduated.
  • Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong interest in Agriculture and Supply Chain
  • Strong analytical skills both technical and business

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
