Summary

Responsibilities

  • Maintain product inventory, perform product tracking in the seed warehouse
  • Organize custom orders, deliveries, and returns
  • Work with account department to maintain proper invoicing
  • Perform seed treatment duties that include application of products and maintenance of equipment
  • Operate heavy machinery to load and unload bulk fertilizer, grain, seed, wheat, corn products for supplies and customers
  • Adhere to all company safety regulations
  • Assist with maintenance and repairs of plant equipment as directed
  • Work with patrons in a courteous and professional manner
  • Perform all job functions as needed to ensure facility operators smoothly and customer receive excellent customer services
  • Control and monitor all load out functions
  • Understand and operate automate scale/dump systems
  • Blend product as prescribed and/or generate blends
  • Load and unload products from railcars or trucks
  • Conduct regular house cleaning duties, processes and record keeping
  • Maintain and keep records on all equipment including legs, conveyors, cleaners, vehicles and all other facility equipment
  • Follow all company policies, procedures and safety requirements
  • Monitor and maintain quality of inventor and blended product
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • Must meet minimum age requirement
  • 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations

Additional Qualifications

  • Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile
  • Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • CDL license or ability to attain one with Hazmat endorsement preferred
  • Agriculture experience preferred
  • Forklift certiification preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 75 pounds
  • Ability to climb rail cars, ladders, stairs, and bins
  • Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures
