Summary
CHS is looking for a Continous Improvement Specialsit to join our team in Malta, MT. You’ll play a crucial role in leading Continuous Improvement initiatives to optimize performance, solve complex challenges, and pull data across different business unit locations. Partners with leaders to implement strategic changes, manages improvement projects, coordinate score cards, data management, and tracks key metrics to ensure sustained organizational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Optimize enterprise performance by partnering with business leaders across the company to define direction and implement changes to become best in class.
- Solve unique problems that have broad impact on the enterprise.
- Anticipate and articulate emerging organizational needs. Identify strategies for organizational improvement and assist with implementation.
- Drive the Lean Continuous Improvement process improvement culture across the enterprise, train, coach and mentor the Lean mindset, skillset and toolset.
- Network with enterprise Continuous Improvement leaders, leverage best practices into the Lean Framework.
- Provide mentoring and leadership to ensure a common language and approach to problem solving. Develop and lead the Enterprise Lean training programs.
- Lead continuous improvement projects with medium risk and complexity. Determine scope, budget, timeframes, develop the strategy for project execution, form teams, assign tasks, manage resources and issues.
- Identify critical success factors, metrics and KPIs, and develop/establish and track reporting metrics to identify future changes required to drive improvement.
- Perform other responsibilities as needed or assigned
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- High School diploma or GED
- 4+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement
Additional Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization and facilitate collaboration across business departments and functions to deliver desired program outcomes
- Ability to mentor practitioners and leadership and influence without authority
- Knowledge of process mapping and analysis techniques
- Knowledge of different qualitative and quantitative analytical methods, approaches and tactics
- Basic understanding of root cause analysis and process improvement concepts, methods and techniques
- Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability in change management in support of projects and transformation efforts
- Strong organization and planning skills, including the ability to direct and prioritize multiple and complex projects to completion within deadlines
- Strong written, verbal and presentational skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Business Administration, or related field
- PMP, Lean certification or LSS Green/Black Belt preferred

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
