Summary

CHS is looking for a Hazmat Truck Driver to join our team in Coffeyville, KS! This individual will be hauling fuel and propane to customers locally and throughout KS. The schedule for this role will be Mon-Fri and will require you to be out 2-3 nights a week during our busy season. Join our amazing team today!

Responsibilities

  • Deliver commodities to customer locations in a safe, punctual, and efficient manner. 
  • Complete daily maintenance report and notify shop supervisor of any needed repairs. 
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections as well as loading and unloading products. 
  • Follow all guidelines and regulations for hauling bulk liquid products to include, but not limited to Petroleum, Propane, and Anhydrous Ammonia. 
  • Maintain electronic logs and on-board computer with each shipment. 
  • Utilize loading arms and hoses for loading and unloading
  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • 2+ years of tractor trailer experience
  • Class A CDL with hazmat/tanker endorsement. 
  • Must meet minimum age requirement
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals

Additional Qualifications

  • Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. If required, selected candidates must pass pre-employment screenings to include all or a combination of drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements and FMCSA Clearinghouse.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift/carry up to 80 lbs, walk, stand, sit, bend, and kneel
