Summary
Responsibilities
- Oversee agronomy operations at the Milton location, with additional support responsibilities for grain operations and fuel island activity.
- Provide leadership and direction to Milton agronomy employees, including work assignments, coaching, training, and day-to-day supervision.
- Manage daily agronomy operations to ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service while supporting operational efficiency and business objectives.
- Serve as a working supervisor during busy seasons, assisting employees with operational tasks and helping maintain workflow during peak demand.
- Support grain operations as needed, including filling in during staffing shortages and assisting with grain-related activities.
- Assist with unloading fertilizer trains and coordinating fertilizer handling, movement, and inventory needs.
- Oversee fuel island operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant service and facility performance.
- Coordinate labor, equipment, inventory, and operational priorities to support agronomy service needs during normal and peak business periods.
- Maintain effective communication with employees, customers, location leadership, and support teams to ensure alignment on daily priorities and service expectations.
- Support a strong safety culture by following company safety policies, working with the on-site safety supervisor, and helping identify or address unsafe actions or conditions.
- Apply grain or agronomy experience and supervisory skills to lead employees, solve operational issues, and support overall location performance.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- High School diploma or GED
- 4+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations
- Prior leadership experience with progressively advancing level of leadership responsibilities
Additional Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Previous Agribusiness/Location management or Grain Sales experience preferred
- Ability to motivate and lead team members

Physical Requirements
CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
