Summary
CHS is seeking a dynamic Maintenance Supervisor to lead and elevate our fleet maintenance operations. In this key leadership role, you’ll oversee all maintenance and compliance activities for Class A heavy duty vehicles and trailers, driving a best-in-class maintenance strategy that blends internal, outsourced, and for-hire solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with operations to optimize asset utilization and ensure top-tier safety and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance department and develop a best-in-class maintenance operation..
- Direct maintenance and compliance for assigned power units and trailers
- Manage all repair and maintenance activity at the location and determine an optimal combination of internal, outsourced and for-hire maintenance work.
- Partner with operations to manage asset utilization, repair, and maintenance to achieve best-in-class maintenance operation
- Achieve a best-in-class level of safety and regulatory compliance at assigned location.
- Help design, develop, and recommend maintenance technologies and techniques that support CHS Transportation business goals.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- High School diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance, supervision, or a combination of both
- Experience performing maintenance on heavy duty Class A vehicles
Additional Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance and repair in a production setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work extended hours to meet business demands
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
