CHS is looking for an intern to fill a summer position at the Moccasin, MT location. You will work extensively with the Outside Sales Agronomist and the staff at that location providing customer service through a wide rage of offered services. Services including crop protection and nutrient assistance, monitoring fields and production activity and help in the day to day problem solving task that are presented.  


  • Provide Customer Service
  • Crop scouting for pest (weeds, insects and diseases) and assisting in concluding a solution
  • Learning different types of pesticide products and proper placements
  • Learning different crop management techniques
  • Retrieving soil sampling and analyzing the results
  • Learning nutrient availabilities, and the signs of deficiency in crops
  • Assist in the day to day operations of the Livestock Nutrition department
  • Taking feed samples, analyzing feed quality and nutritional value
  • Generate weekly written reports analyzing the obtained information and findings
  • Provide Product Delivery
  • Assisting in inventory management
  • Assisting in daily maintenance and facility operation

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • Currently enrolled in an Agriculture related degree program
  • Have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software
  • Must be able to work long hours and weekends
  • Being detail oriented
  • Convey good communication skills
